Pendekatan Multi Representasi untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Konsep dan Pemecahan Masalah Mahasiswa Pada Materi Gelombang

Abstract


Rendahnya penguasaan konsep serta pemecahan masalah pada materi gelombang berdampak pada kesulitan mahasiswa saat mempelajari materi Fisika lanjutan. Permasalahan ini mampu diatasi dengan pembelajaran multi representasi karena mahasiswa belajar melalui berbagai format representasi sehingga konsep Fisika tergambarkan lengkap. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pembelajaran dengan multi representasi dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa pada materi gelombang dan sejauh mana pembelajaran dengan multi representasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan mixed methods desain embedded experiment model. Pembelajaran multirepresentasi mampu meningkatkan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa pada materi gelombang secara signifikan dengan d-effect size 2,96 kategori kuat dan Ngain 0,6 kategori sedang.
